Bond Election November 4

      Many people have expressed an overwhelming feeling of appreciation for the new George West High School.  Recently completed, this new facility is definitely something our community can take pride in. Girl’s CC Wins District Title

On October 22, 2014 George West High School hosted the UIL District 30 AAA Cross Country meet. The first event was the Varsity girls 2 mile where the Lady Horns captured the district title. GWEF Donates more than $149,000 to GWISD

  The George West Education Foundation was on a mission this week as Foundation Board members visited George West ISD.  Only in its second year of operation, the Foundation awarded almost $150,000 in grants to George West ISD teachers. Teachers submitted grant requests for technology, teacher training, and field trips to enhance instruction in the classroom.  Grant awards ranged from interactive mimio boards to science lab equipment to field trips to the Witte museum for Gifted & Talented students and Drum . . . read more
