Bond Election November 4

      Many people have expressed an overwhelming feeling of appreciation for the new George West High School.  Recently completed, this new facility is definitely something our community can take pride in. George West Cross Country Team Competes in the Dilley Wolves Invitational

  On October 4 th the George West Cross Country Team traveled to compete in the Dilley Wolves Invitational. The highest place of the day belonged to Jo-Leeza Morin an 8 th grade Lady Yearling who finished 3 rd with a time of 14:11 in the 2 mile. Also competing for the Yearlings were Cannon McCool, Zach Pankey and Kassidy Preston.Running three miles and finishing in the top 20 for the Longhorns were Garret Pawlik 7 th with a time of 17:21 and Freshman JT Bryce 13 th . GWEF Donates more than $149,000 to GWISD

  The George West Education Foundation was on a mission this week as Foundation Board members visited George West ISD.  Only in its second year of operation, the Foundation awarded almost $150,000 in grants to George West ISD teachers.
