Mathis signs letter of commitment with Sul Ross

George West FFA Participates in Texas FFA Career Development Events

                George West – Members of the George West FFA chapter traveled to Huntsville & College Station , May 1 & 2,  to compete in Ag Sales and Livestock Judging Career Development Events.   Approximately 13,400 students began the statewide-tournament in 28 different events which reflect classroom instruction in basic technical, leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills.     . . . read more

George West Track and Field State Qualifiers

          George West High School is sending three athletes to the UIL State Track and Field Meet May 14-16.  Not only did these students qualify for the State Meet, but each of them won the title of Regional Champion by placing 1 st in their events.   Andrea Waggoner became the 300 m hurdles champion with a time of 45:22.  This new time was Andrea’s personal record.
