BPA is a great student organization for students
interested in business. It gives students a chance to use the workplace
skills they learn in their business classes at George West High School in
various competitions. BPA meetings are held the first Monday of each month
in Room 306 during lunch.
George West High School is proud to have sponsored several competitors to
the national level of competition, several of whom have placed in the top
ten in the nation. At the 2009 National Leadership Conference, we were very
proud to have Sara Roach place 1st in Fundamental Word Processing Skills and
Frank Alvarez place 2nd in Presentation Management-Individual.
Our local chapter has also produced a BPA state officer and two regional
presidents.
