It’s time for UIL once again, and George West Junior High is currently scheduling try-outs and preparing teams! We encourage ALL students to try out for any event they are interested in! This year there is no limit on the number of events a student may enter with the exception of speaking events, which is limited to two. Students need to be aware of the time commitment involved in their event(s) so that they may be successful. Remember that UIL strictly adheres to the No Pass – No Play rule. In-house events will be held during the week of January 4-8, and our contest will be held on January 9th in Dilley. UIL is such a beneficial experience that we hope that the great majority of our students will participate and become triumphant!! Good luck to all!!
