View Student Information (VSI)

· VSI will allow parents to securely access your child's information conveniently from any Internet-connected computer at any time of the day or night.

· Scheduling Information

Security

· Since you are not looking at the actual student record, it is impossible to tamper with permanent records through VSI.

· Parents are responsible for the security of their account. Login information should be kept private.

Using VSI

· Parents or guardians will need to go to their child’s campus to pick up an enrollment letter.

· Because of privacy and security issues, you will need to get the letter in person.

· Please be prepared to show your ID.

· You will not be able to pick up information for any other student or parent.

· The enrollment letter will contain the VSI website address, a username, and a password. Please keep this letter handy as it will be required if your password must be reset.

· You will be required to change the password the first time you log on.

· Important! You must remember your password once you change it. We will not be able to look up your password after you have changed it.

· To reset your password, please send your request to: vsi@gwisd.esc2.net. Include your student’s name and student ID number in your request.

· Allow 3-5 business days for your request to be processed.

· Grades will be updated by teachers on a weekly basis.

· Should you have concerns about your child’s grades, please contact their teacher.
