GW battled a very physical Skidmore-Tynan squad last Friday on the road in a District 31AA contest.  The Longhorns played well enough to put the Bobcats away early in the second half.  FINAL SCORE GW 66 – ST 47.  The team is now 15-7 on the season and 4-1 in district play. 

 

Tonight’s game at Bloomington has been rescheduled to Thursday night due to weather.  If you are able to make the LONG trip to Bloomington we would appreciate it greatly.  This will be a very tough game for us to win on the road.  Fortunately, we do not have to play back to back games on Friday.  We were originally scheduled to play Jourdanton, but they have cancelled that contest.  I do not know their gym situation there, but both JV’s and Varsities will play.  JV starting at 5:00pm and our boys will play after the girls, around 7:30-8:00pm.

 

The GW JV also improved its record to 12-4 and 4-1 in district by defeating Skidmore-Tynan in Skidmore on Friday.
